Kip Kirby is a nationally-recognized professional entertainment interviewer and writer with extensive experience in print, radio and television.

Kip is a former editor and Nashville bureau chief for Billboard  Magazine, and a frequent contributor to Country Weekly, CMA Close-Up, and Clean Run.  

She writes bios and press kits for artists and record companies on Music Row, and freelances for a variety of other publications.  Kip’s articles have appeared in the pages of such national magazines as Country Weekly, CMA CloseUp, Clean Run, Animal Fair, Young Woman, Tune-In, Nashville, and Songwriters Digest.

As a television reporter and producer, Kip spent years on the air with Nashville Public Television (NPT), WSMV-TV, and The Nashville Network (TNN).  Kip's features have been seen on  “Crook and Chase,” “PM Magazine,” “Weekday,”  “This Week in Country Music,” and “Tennessee Crossroads.”

In addition to interviewing celebrities both in and out of the music business, Kip also specializes in articles about dogs and their training. She is an agility competitor who has titled six dogs and competed at the AKC Nationals. Kip is a recognized professional dog trainer, with over fifteen years' experience.  She specializes in helping owners with all aspects of dog behavior, including manners, socialization, obedience and relationship building.

In 2005, Kip received a gold medal from Dog Writers Association of America for one of her online humor articles in Agility Action Magazine.
